Last night at the Raffles Hotel in Istanbul, Grimaldi Lines had the ceremony of presentation of its news cargo line. Driving maritime innovation, the Grimaldi Group expands its Mediterranean operations with a new eco-friendly ro-ro service connecting Italy and Türkiye.

From September 14, 2024, the company offers a direct link between Trieste and Ambarli (Istanbul), calling Bari and Patraso, with two weekly departures from each port.

Utilizing cutting-edge hybrid vessels, Eco Mediterranea and Eco Malta, the new route reduces CO2 emissions by 50% and achieves zero emissions in ports. This service supports major automotive clients and strengthens the trade network between Central Europe and Türkiye with efficient and sustainable transport solutions.
